Formed originally as Eton Athletic Club, they became Windsor and Eton AC in 1953, before merging with Slough AC in 1968. In 2000, the club became Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow AC following amalgamation with Borough of Hounslow AC.

WSEH joined the BAL in 1979 and the UKWAL in 1993.

Kelly Morgan, a 64m javelin thrower, was at one point ranked 2nd in the world and also won the World Boxing Council female silver middleweight belt in June 2016.
