The National Athletics League comprises 32 clubs split across two levels.

At the top of the NAL is the Premiership involving 8 clubs, while the second level is the Championship Division involving 24 clubs, split into North, South, West and East regional groups which each contain 6 teams.

For the 2024 season, fixtures are being held on:

Match 1 – Saturday 1st June

Match 2 – Saturday 22nd June – Championship only

Match 3 – Sunday 7th July

Match 4 – Saturday 3rd August

For the Championship, match four will be split into two competitions in Bedford. Firstly, a Promotion Match will take place, involving the top two teams from the North, South, East and West regional groups. From this match, the top two teams will be promoted to the Premiership.

On the same day, the clubs who have placed third to sixth in those same four Championship regional groups will take part in the Cup Final, which will feature A String events only.
