Divisional Athlete Awards are presented to the athlete from each of the NAL divisions: Premiership and Championship, who achieve the best track or field performance within their respective fixtures.
Athletes must be from NAL member clubs and must have been declared as scoring athletes within the event. They cannot also be the recipient of the Athlete of the Year Award,
Award recipients are those who achieve the highest number of points for a single NAL event based upon Professor Mick Bromilow’s Event Scoring Table.
Efe Okoro of Birchfield Harriers is the 2024 Premiership Athlete of the Year for his 49.90-second 400m hurdles performance.
Efe also won 400m flat races in Woodford and Birmingham.
Joe Brier of Swansea Harriers is the 2024 Championship Athlete of the Year for his 46.16-second 400m time which gave him maximum points at the club’s home track in June.
Swansea won the Championship West regional group to gain a place at August’s Promotion Match.
