The National Athletics League has officially announced its structure for the 2025 season, along with details of fixture dates.
Clubs will continue to be split across two levels, with the eight-team Premiership being the top division, and the Championship being split into North, South, East and West regional groups.
Saturday 31st May will therefore see five fixtures opening up the season across the Premiership in Eton, Championship North in York, Championship South in Bournemouth, Championship East in Chelmsford and Championship West in Yeovil.
Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium will again the host venue for what will be an exciting third and final Premiership match of the season on 16th August.
All Championship sides will take part in three matches, before the top two from each of the four regional groups proceed to the Promotion Match.
From this match involving a total of 8 clubs, the top two teams will be promoted to the Premiership for the 2026 season, similar to how Shaftesbury Barnet and City of Sheffield and Dearne were promoted last year.
The league also wishes to welcome new members City of York AC and Winchester and District AC, who will contest the Championship North and Championship West respectively.
