National Athletics League Website Launch

The new National Athletics League (NAL) has launched a revamped website with just four weeks to go until the first fixtures take place.

The independent league, formed following the dissolution of the men’s British Athletics League (BAL) and UK Women’s League (UKWL), was due to start in 2020.

However, Covid restrictions delayed the launch until this year and meant a revised competition structure.

The new site, which was developed in conjunction with the leading athletics streaming company Vinco, and contains club profiles, live results and startlists, as well as video coverage and match reports. The history of the BAL and UKWAL features within the archive sections.

The NAL is also excited to announce a monthly photography competition, in which athletes and other supporters can document “a day at the NAL”. with the best pictures being put forward to an end-of-year finale.

The league is also live with its social media platforms on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Organisers of the NAL would like to thank Matt Quine and Alex Seftel of Vinco and also credit Mark Shearman MBE (Athletics Images), David Hewitson (Sports For All Pics), Howard Goldberg (Sports Photo Wales) and Melissa Gresswell (Liss Photography) for photography.

NAL fixtures to be held on Sunday June 6th, Saturday July 3rd, Saturday August 7th and Saturday August 28th. If any official has not registered with the National Athletic League please complete the online registration process through the website.
