Olympic and world medallist Yemi Mary John and UK triple jump champion Georgie Forde-Wells headline a Woodford Green with Essex Ladies team that will host the second NAL Premiership match of 2026 on Saturday.
They are set to test their skill over alternate events, with John opting to run a 200m and Forde-Wells involved in the long jump.
Thames Valley Harriers will look to build on their Premiership victory in Derby in May. Their team includes Great Britain long jumper Molly Palmer, and former UK indoor champions Lily Hulland (triple jump) and Nemiah Munir (pole vault), as well as up-and-coming sprinters such as Kaya Slater (200m) and Jasmine Wilkins (100m, 4x100m). Former European under-20 4x400m champion Louise Evans, who set 200m and 400m PBs for the first time in three years this year, is down for the shorter of those distances along with the longer relay.
After a winning double over 800m and 1500m last time out, Charlotte Buckley has opted for the 800m and 3000m this weekend.
Reigning champions Harrow AC include regulars such as 2025 joint-UK high jump champion Divine Duruaku, discus thrower Nick Percy and hurdler Marli Jessop.
Great Britain hammer throwers Jake Norris and Taylor Campbell return to Windsor, Slough, Eton and Hounslow’s squad.
Having set her personal best in the NAL last year that helped her qualify for Scotland’s Commonwealth Games team, Alyson Bell returns for Glasgow Jaguars over 200m.
She’ll compete alongside Birchfield Harriers’ Ava Freeman, with the club also bringing Eke Okoro for the 400m, and Wales international shot putter Adele Nicoll.
Another athlete selected for the Commonwealth Games is Tonbridge’s England international decathlete Lewis Church, who is down for 110m hurdles, javelin, discus and pole vault.
Swansea Harriers’ team features Welsh 100m medallist Eniola Adedotun who is doing both of the shorter sprint events.
GB Paralympians Maddie Down (long jump) and Bebe Jackson (discus) are involved as guests.
Championship fixtures are taking place in Nottingham (North), Blackheath (South), Bournemouth (West) and Stevenage (East).
