Fastrax to supply NAL vests for Loughborough International

Popular athletics clothing specialist Fastrax has been confirmed to supply the National Athletics League with vests for the Loughborough International on May 23.

As with the Manchester International last summer, athletes representing the NAL in Loughborough will be kitted out with tops produced by the West Yorkshire-based company, which uses UK-only products.

Fastrax, which has been a major kit supplier of clubs, schools and association teams since 1979, has agreed to subsidise the cost of the vests as the team takes on squads from Great Britain and Northern Ireland Under 20s, England, Scotland, Wales, Loughborough University and British Universities. The company uses only UK-manufactured fabrics and the sublimation printing process takes place entirely in this country.

Terry Lonergan, director of Fastrax, said: “All the team here at Fastrax are pleased to once again sponsor National Athletics League kit for the Loughborough International meet. It is especially gratifying that NAL have chosen to work with a UK-based company with a decades long tradition of supplying UK clubs with UK-manufactured garments made from UK fabric. We wish all team members the very best for the event.”

NAL chair Len Steers added: “The League are extremely proud of our partnership with the team at Fastrax, a company supporting grassroots athletics and who are passionate about our sport.”

Athletes interested in representing NAL in the historic Loughborough fixture are invited to express their interest now. To be eligible, athletes must have competed in the NAL at least once either last year or in the opening round of 2022 fixtures on May 7. They must either have first-claim or higher-competition status with one of the NAL member clubs. Athletes chosen will be the highest-ranked available and eligible from current form.
